Apple Arcade trailer introduces the public to many of the service's 100+ games

During the recent presentation of the iPhone 11 and other products of the Cupertino giant, the release date of the Apple Arcade gaming service was announced - it will become available on September 19 and will cost Russian users 199 β‚½ per month. For this amount, players will have access to more than 100 new projects, each of which can be played on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV without any restrictions, internal payments and advertising.

At the same time, Apple talked about some of the upcoming games, and now presented a trailer, where Mark Bozon dwelled on some projects in more detail. For example, he showed Hot Lava from Klei Entertainment. You need to be careful in this game, because the floor is lava (just like in children's entertainment). It is proposed to run, jump, climb and even surf - alone or competing with friends (on mobile devices, control using the accelerometer is supported).

In turn, EarthNight from Cleaversoft is an arcade platform game in which the main character is constantly running. Everything here is drawn by hand, and the levels are randomly generated, so that each new passage is different from the previous one. Snowman's Skate City is a skateboarding game that's built for natural touch and Apple says it takes advantage of that input.

Mografi's Jenny LeClue - Detectivu is very much about storytelling: not only Jenny herself, but also the author of the story has to be controlled, so it's a story within a story, and the decisions you make affect both characters. RED Games' LEGO Brawls platformer is all about multiplayer and side-by-side battles in the LEGO universe. Here you can create your own characters and join teams to build combat mechanisms and control them together to win battles. Apple says the project is perfect for the whole family.

In addition, the above video, which is only about 100 seconds long, shows small excerpts from a number of other projects:

  • Towaga: Among Shadows by Noodlecake;
  • Mosaic by Raw Fury;
