The only living person on the station will be Dr. Emma Fisher, who remembers nothing. The remaining members of the team, obviously, died - now it is necessary to restore the sequence of events and solve the mystery. The AI player needs to use the station's control systems, cameras, and tools to help Emma figure out what's going on with the station, the missing command, and SAM itself.

"Headquarters, here's Dr. Emma Fisher from the research station. I still don't know what happened or how I ended up here. There is no sign of other team members: it's just me and SAM SAM systems are gradually returning to working order as we restore power to what is left of the station, but something has changed in SAM, ”says in the trailer for the launch of Observation by an astronaut, whose voice gradually becomes iron. And already clearly SAM ends the speech with disturbing words: β€œNow I am different.”

In some ways, the game resembles the puzzle game The Turing Test, where it also took place in space, and the main characters were artificial intelligence and an astronaut who had to find out the circumstances of the problem that occurred at the base. Observation includes Russian localization (probably only in the form of subtitles).
