For the New Year, the publishing house BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment presented a new trailer for its project One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, which is dedicated to another important character in the game adaptation of the famous anime universe “Big Snatch”. We are talking about Sir Crocodile, the former head of the Baroque Works organization.
This character, also known as Mister 0, was once one of the Great Corsairs. While attempting to seize power in Alabasta, he was stopped by Luffy and stripped of his status, ending up imprisoned in Impel Down Prison. Luffy later freed Crocodile and they fought together against another Great Corsair, Mihawk.
A distinctive feature of this character from the manga "Snatch" is the ability of the Sand-Sand fruit. He is able to turn everything into sand and control it. The video shows how he flies into the air in a stream of sand and throws armfuls of enemies to the ground, how he pushes away masses of enemies with a wave of sand, how he uses his hand with a hook and causes sand tornadoes:
Let us remind you: the new game in the famous universe will cover many stories from the animated series telling about the adventures of the Straw Hat team. The plot is based more on the events of the original manga rather than the animated series. The heroes will have to see the country of Wano with their own eyes and face mortal danger. New uncharted territories and even more powerful abilities await Luffy and his friends. First of all, the story will revolve around Whole Cake Island.
The project is being created for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, as well as for PC. And in November : The Japanese will receive it first, March 26, 2020, while the US and Europe will have to wait one day. The PC version will be sold on Steam, although the store page is still missing.
