- Work has been done to adapt Ubuntu Touch components, such as the Lomiri shell (Unity8) and indicators, to work in postmarketOS and Alpine distributions, which ship the musl system library instead of GNU libc. The prepared changes have also improved the overall portability of the codebase and will make it easier to migrate to using Ubuntu 20.04 as the basis of Ubuntu Touch in the future.
- Changed splash screens of all basic applications, when launched, they now show a harmonious indicator instead of a blank white screen.
- Expanded the capabilities of the address book, in which you can now save information about birthdays. The added data is automatically transferred to the calendar and shown in the new "Contact birthdays" section. Problems with overflowing SMS and MMS messages, as well as recording audio and sending video messages, have been resolved.
