Chinese company Huawei, as it was , introduced the Maimang 8 smartphone, which will be offered in two color options - Midnight Black (black) and Sapphire Blue (blue).
The device uses a proprietary Kirin 710 processor (eight cores with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and an ARM Mali-G51 MP4 graphics accelerator), working in tandem with 6 GB of RAM.
The Full HD+ format screen (2340 Γ 1080 pixels) measures 6,21 inches diagonally. The panel occupies 89% of the front surface area. The selfie camera based on an 8-megapixel sensor is located in a small cutout at the top of the display.
The main camera has a three-module configuration: these are vertically located blocks of 24 million, 16 million and 2 million pixels. There is an LED flash.
The smartphone carries on board a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB with the possibility of expansion via a microSD card. There are Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 LE adapters, a GPS/GLONASS receiver, a Micro-USB port and a fingerprint scanner.
The device weighs 160 grams and measures 155,2 x 73,4 x 7,95 mm. Power is supplied by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh. The operating system is Android 9.0 (Pie) with the EMUI 9.0 add-on.
