A few days remain before the release of the GeForce GTX 1650 video cards, but the flow of rumors and leaks about them has not yet dried up. This time, Tom's Hardware resource found two models of MSI's GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card in the Spanish Amazon assortment, which are called Ventus XS OC and Aero ITX OC.
The MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Ventus XS OC graphics card features a larger cooling system, which includes a one-piece aluminum radiator, blown by a pair of Torx 2.0 fans with a diameter of about 90 mm. Judging by the published images, there are no heat pipes, as well as other copper elements. Note that the cooler covers the plastic casing, made in gray and black, without RGB lighting.
The second novelty, MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Aero ITX OC, features a more modest cooling system with a single fan with a diameter of about 100 mm. A more compact monolithic aluminum radiator is used here, also without any copper elements. Due to the fact that the cooling system does not protrude beyond the printed circuit board, the length of the video card is only 178 mm.
By the way, both new items are built on the same printed circuit boards. They are devoid of any additional power connectors, which means that the power consumption of these GeForce GTX 1650s does not exceed 75 W supplied through the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot. For image output, there is one DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b connector each. Also, both new products do not have rear reinforcing plates, which is not surprising for budget models.
Unfortunately, the GPU clock speeds of the new video cards are not specified. However, the abbreviation "OC" in their names indicates the presence of some factory overclocking. Recall that the GeForce GTX 1650 will be built on a Turing TU117 GPU with 896 CUDA cores, the reference frequencies of which will be 1485/1665 MHz. The amount of video memory GDDR5 will be 4 GB.
The MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Aero ITX OC was priced at β¬186,64 in Spain, while the larger GeForce GTX 1650 Ventus XS OC was β¬192,46. In both cases, the price includes VAT, which in Spain is 21%. Note that also MSI will release a graphics card , which will be the oldest version of the GTX 1650 in the range of the Taiwanese manufacturer. The release of the GeForce GTX 1650 is expected on April 22.
