Analyst company SuperData Research has published a new report, according to which the best-selling launch of 2019 in digital stores was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Recall that the game was released on October 25, at the very end of the reporting period.

According to SuperData Research, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has sold approximately 4,75 million digital copies for consoles and PC. This figure is 11% lower than Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but keep in mind that the last one was released on October 12, 2018 - at the beginning of the reporting month. The new shooter took first place on the digital console chart and sixth on PC.

At the same time, Call of Duty Mobile made about $57 million in total revenue in October. The mobile shooter's audience has reached 116 million monthly active users, with iOS gamers making up 82% of the total revenue.

SuperData Research report also says that October 2019 was the best month Apex Legends since the launch of the game. The game generated $45 million in in-game spending cumulatively across all platforms. For comparison, in September, users spent only about $16 million in Apex Legends.

The Monthly Console Digital Chart also featured Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which was released on October 4 - she took fourth place. The Outer Worlds, which went on sale on October 25, debuted at number nine on the PC chart.
