The CIA believes that Huawei is funded by the military and intelligence of China

The confrontation between the United States and the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei for a long time was based on mere accusations from the US government, which were not supported by any facts or documents. The US authorities have not provided convincing evidence that Huawei is conducting spying activities in the interests of China.

The CIA believes that Huawei is funded by the military and intelligence of China

Over the weekend, there were reports in the British media that there was evidence of collusion between Huawei and the Chinese government, but they were not made public. The Times, citing a well-informed CIA source, says that the telecommunications company received financial support from various state security services of the PRC. In particular, it is reported that Huawei received funds from the People's Liberation Army of China, the National Security Commission, as well as the third branch of the State Intelligence of China. The Intelligence Agency believes that China's Ministry of State Security has supported Huawei's funding project.

Recall that some time ago, the United States, together with its allies, accused the Chinese company Huawei of spying and collecting confidential data using its own telecommunications equipment supplied to different countries of the world. Later, the US government urged allies to stop using Huawei equipment. However, no substantial evidence supporting the allegations was ever provided.

Recall earlier the researchers analyzed Huawei's ownership structure and concluded that the company may be owned by the state.
