The update is a little over 600 MB in size and contains a lot of bug fixes that were present in the previous version of the software. So, in the new software, a bug was fixed due to which the Chromecast function could not work, a hang was eliminated when playing content in some applications, an error in H.264 decoding was fixed, and audio and video were out of sync when audio was played on Bluetooth devices. In addition, the problem with HDMI compatibility has been fixed, and many other errors of previous versions of the software.

Unfortunately, the firmware cannot be installed on the original Xiaomi Mi Box, despite the fact that both devices have the same hardware platform.
