Twitter makes it easy to describe security, privacy, and authenticity rules

Twitter developers have announced that to make it easier to understand the rules of the platform, a decision was made to shorten their descriptions. Now the description of each rule of a popular social network consists of 280 characters or less. Descriptions have a limitation similar to the one that applies to custom posts.

Another change was the reorganization of the Twitter rules, which allowed developers to categorize them, thus making it easier to find specific topics. You can now see the current rules in the Security, Privacy, and Authenticity sections. Each of these categories has received new rules regarding posting integrity, platform manipulation, spam, and more. In addition, Twitter developers have added step-by-step instructions that detail how to report content that violates the platform's rules. In the future, it is planned to add standalone help pages for each individual rule, which will provide more detailed information.

Social networking site Twitter has followed the example of YouTube, where certain penalties are applied to people who post racist videos. In the past, Twitter has been in a situation where there was no reason to block users who post racist material. It is worth noting that the developers of Twitter have not yet developed a clear policy of behavior in relation to accounts with racist publications that seek to incite ethnic hatred.
