Information about two new Yandex smart speakers has appeared in the Unified Register of Notifications on the Characteristics of Encryption (Cryptographic) Means and Goods Containing Them of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Recall that its first "smart" column - "Yandex.Station" - Russian IT giant at the end of May last year. The device uses an intelligent voice assistant "Alice". Users can request various information, inquire about the weather, traffic conditions, etc. The speaker plays music, finds movies, cartoons, series and videos and shows them on the TV. The price is 9990 rubles.
New smart speakers appear under the names "Yandex.Station Plus" (model YNDX-0003) and "Yandex.Station Mini" (model YNDX-0004). It is obvious that the first version will differ in advanced functionality, and the second one will be small in size.
The manufacturer of the products is Yandex Services AG Joint Stock Company (Yandex Services AG), registered at Werftstrasse 4, 6005 Lucerne, Switzerland. The publication date of notifications is April 29, 2019.
Thus, in the very near future, the original Yandex.Station may have two brothers. The Yandex company, however, has not yet commented on this.
