UK Chart: FIFA 20 holds on to the top spot for the third week in a row
Football simulator FIFA 20 holds the first line of the British charts for the third week in a row. The Electronic Arts game had a weaker-than-usual launch (if you count only the boxed release), but is holding its own despite a 59% weekly drop in sales.
Tactical online shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint also confidently holds on to second place. The game's success in the first week of launch was moderate, but sales dropped by only 56% in the second week, which is a good result.
Codemasters' racing game Grid (released October 11), which debuted in fifth place, boasted the best result of the past week among new releases. 61% of the project's initial sales came from the PlayStation 4. Next on the list is Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair by Team17 and Playtonic (released October 8). She ranked thirty-one. 56% of platformer sales came from Nintendo Switch, 30% from PlayStation 4, and the rest from Xbox One.
Finally, the PlayStation 4-exclusive action-adventure Concrete Genie (released October 8) hit #35 on the weekly chart.
