Huawei Smart Eyewear goes on sale in China

This spring, the Chinese company Huawei announced its first smart glasses Smart Eyewear, which was developed in collaboration with the popular South Korean brand Gentle Monster. The glasses were supposed to go on sale by the end of the summer, but for some reason their launch was delayed. Now Huawei Smart Eyewear can be purchased in more than 140 stores located in China.

The novelty works in conjunction with the user's smartphone, allowing you to answer calls without a headset. The design lacks a camera and physical buttons, but the glasses replace headphones and have speakers. Noise reduction technology is used to improve the quality of the conversation. To receive an incoming call, just double-tap the bow. There is a built-in voice assistant.

The glasses look very stylish, they are equipped with an antenna, a charging module, a chipset, two microphones, a battery and a speaker. The body of the novelty is made in accordance with the international standard IP67, which indicates the presence of protection against dust and moisture. To replenish energy, a USB Type-C interface is provided. In addition, wireless charging is supported, for which you just need to put the glasses in a special case included in the package. In standby mode, the device can work up to 20 hours, while talking or listening to music - 2,5 hours.

Currently, there are five models of glasses from Huawei available to customers. Two models are sunscreen and 3 more are optical. Depending on the chosen model, the cost of Smart Eyewear ranges from $282 to $353.
