On April 12, 2019, 2 years after the previous release, the Unigine Superposition benchmark version 1.1 was released. Main changes:
- The interactive VR mode, previously available only in the paid versions of the benchmark, is now available in the free version. You can use Oculus Rift, HTC Vive / Vive Pro or other SteamVR compatible VR headsets. VR mode is also available to Linux users via SteamVR.
- Improved equipment detection algorithms
- Increased maximum rendering resolution to 16384 x 16384
The measurement algorithm and workload remained unchanged, which means that the scores of the same system in Superposition 1.0 and Superposition 1.1 will be the same.
