On April 12, 2019, two years after the previous release, the Unigine Superposition benchmark version 1.1 was launched. The main changes:
- The interactive VR mode, previously available only in paid versions of the benchmark, is now accessible in the free version. Users can utilize VR headsets such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive / Vive Pro, or other devices compatible with SteamVR. The VR mode is also available to Linux users through SteamVR.
- Enhanced hardware detection algorithms.
- The maximum rendering resolution has been increased to 16384 x 16384.
The measurement algorithm and workload remain unchanged, meaning that assessments for the same system in Superposition 1.0 and Superposition 1.1 will be identical.
