We are talking about the product IVY510, the first information about which was disclosed in February this year. The solution is based on the international standard 3GPP R15. Provides support for fifth generation (5G) mobile networks with non-autonomous (NSA) and autonomous (SA) architectures.

Chip production will be entrusted to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Initially, it was said that the modem will be produced using 12-nanometer technology, but the DigiTimes resource reports that a 7-nanometer process technology will be used.

It is noted that the delivery of the IVY510 solution will begin this year. Thus, the first devices with this modem may debut in the third or fourth quarter.
