Sales of Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, a compact and more affordable version of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 with somewhat simpler equipment, will start in Russia. The novelty will go on sale in a week, on May 23, at a price of 24 rubles.
The Mi 9 SE smartphone was announced in February this year along with the main flagship Mi 9. The more affordable new Xiaomi received a 5,97-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The other major difference is the platform - it uses a mid-range Snapdragon 712 chip with eight cores up to 2,3 GHz, which, nevertheless, has very high performance.
From the full-fledged flagship Mi 9 SE inherited a triple rear camera. It combines a 48MP main sensor, which is complemented by a 13MP wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. The front camera is built on a 20-megapixel image sensor. Also, the new smartphone is equipped with a 3070 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, and 64 or 128 GB of internal flash memory is provided for data storage.
As mentioned above, sales of Xiaomi Mi 9 SE will begin on May 23 at a price of 24 rubles. This is how much the version with 990 GB of memory will cost. And for 64 rubles, you can buy a smartphone with twice the amount of internal memory. For comparison, the official price of the full-fledged flagship Xiaomi Mi 27 starts at 990 rubles.
