In April, Twitch viewers watched 334 million hours of Valorant streams

Twitch attracted a lot of viewers during April, and this is especially noticeable in the broadcasts of the beta testing of the multiplayer shooter Valorant. Stream views are up 99% year-over-year, totaling 1,5 billion hours of game play.

By comparison, YouTube Gaming's stats only boasted 461 million hours in April, up 65% from last year. Stream views on Facebook are up 238% year-over-year to 291 million hours. We are talking about the total number of hours of viewing of all content on the platforms.

In April, Valorant was the main driver of views as Riot Games distributed beta test invitations through Twitch streamers. As a result, in April, users watched the project for more than 334 million hours, and the number of simultaneous viewers reached 1,7 million.
