SwiftKey Beta lets you switch search engine

Microsoft has released a new update for SwiftKey virtual keyboard users. For now, this is a beta version, which is numbered 7.2.6.24 and adds some changes and improvements.

SwiftKey Beta lets you switch search engine

One of the main updates can be considered a new flexible system for changing keyboard sizes. To use it, you need to go to Tools > Settings > Size and adjust the keyboard to suit you. An error that occurred on Samsung devices has also been fixed. Because of this bug, a blank keyboard was displayed on smartphones and tablets of the South Korean company.

Additionally, SwiftKey now allows users to switch the search engine used for the search feature. This feature originally arrived last year, but was only supported by Bing at the time. The update can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Earlier, we note that the release version of the keyboard received support for incognito mode for Android devices. Previously, this feature was only available in beta versions for a long time. This protection should improve the entry of critical data such as passwords, bank card numbers and more.

The same functionality is expected in the version for Windows 10 - this will happen in April. The iOS version of the keyboard does not yet have an automatic incognito mode, since the Apple ecosystem is quite closed. This does not allow us to release a similar keyboard.
