Bleeding Edge may have a single-player campaign

At Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference, Ninja Theory announced online action Bleeding Edge. But in the future, perhaps it will have a single player campaign.

Bleeding Edge may have a single-player campaign

Bleeding Edge is not developed by a team Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and the second, smaller group. This will be the studio's first multiplayer project. Speaking to Metro GameCentral, Bleeding Edge director Rahni Tucker, who previously worked on DmC: Devil May Cry, said that at launch and at first, the team will focus entirely on multiplayer, but she has a desire to do a single-player campaign in the future.

β€œHonestly, I think we could really do a great single player campaign in the game. But the team is very small, and multiplayer is the core of the game. This is a very important detail and you can't make it minor. She should be in charge,” she said, laughing. - For me, the main thing in the game is multiplayer. We could potentially do single things in the future, like tell a lot of interesting stories with the characters. Let's see".

The gameplay of Bleeding Edge is reminiscent of Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns. Several characters with unique skills fight in small locations in 4v4 skirmishes. The game has been in development for several years.

The first technical alpha testing of Bleeding Edge will take place on June 27 on PC. You can sign up for it at official game site. A release date for PC and Xbox One has yet to be revealed.
