Chrome 76 will disable Flash by default

Google company plans to in the July release of Chrome 76 cease by default play Flash content. Change already received to the Canary experimental branch, on the basis of which the release of Chrome 76 will be formed.

Until the release of Chrome 87, expected in December 2020, Flash support can be returned in the settings (Advanced > Privacy and Security > Site Settings), followed by explicit confirmation of the Flash content playback operation for each site (confirmation is remembered until the browser is restarted). Complete removal of code to enable Flash support synchronized with previously announced by Adobe plan ending support for Flash technology in 2020.

In Firefox, disable the Adobe Flash plugin expected in issue 69, scheduled for September. Firefox's ESR branches will continue to support Flash until the end of 2020. Until early 2020, users of regular editions of Firefox will be able to return Flash support through settings in about:config.
