Wayland support included in Blender daily builds

The developers of the free 3D modeling package Blender announced the inclusion of support for the Wayland protocol in daily updated test builds. In stable releases native Wayland support is planned to be offered in Blender 3.4. The decision to support Wayland is driven by the desire to get rid of limitations when using XWayland and improve the quality of work in Linux distributions that use Wayland by default.

To work in Wayland-based environments, you need to install the libdecor library for decorating windows on the client side. Among the features not yet available in Wayland-based builds is the lack of support for tablets, 3D mice (NDOF), high pixel density screens, window framing, and cursor warping.
