It's worth noting that Quiet Mode not only turns off notifications, but also prevents the Facebook app from launching. If a user tries to open the Facebook application with Quiet Mode activated, a warning will appear on the device screen, as well as a timer indicating how long Quiet Mode will be active. If you need to write a message or just see what's new on a social network, Quiet Mode can be deactivated for 15 minutes.
Letβs remember: in 2018, the developers integrated the Your Time on Facebook tool into the mobile application, with which you can limit interaction with the social network, and also see how much time was spent on it during the week. After adding Quiet Mode, users will be able to view more detailed statistics. The app will now show time spent on Facebook over a two-week period. Additionally, users will be able to see how much time is spent interacting with Facebook during the day and at night.
The developers have already started rolling out Quiet Mode, but this process may take several weeks. It is expected that it will become available to users of iOS devices by May, but owners of Android gadgets will have to wait until June.
