A new hero and holiday content have been added to the fighting game Brawlhalla

Free hand-drawn fighting game Brawlhalla for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch (and soon for mobile platforms) is preparing for the New Year holidays. Update 3.55 brings new hero Volkov to the permanent roster and a ton of digital content for the Brawlhallidays holiday season.

“Creating a kingdom is not a task for mere mortals,” is the motto of the new hero. The vampire king of Batavia, Volkov, is armed with a scythe and an axe, and his stats are 4 points in strength, 8 in agility, 6 in defense and 4 in speed. The Legend currently has 3 skins: Blood Moon, Blue Virus, and Hunter.

The description of the new hero states that the royal castle of Batavia was built over an abyss in the earth, which served as a gateway to hell. It was a fatal mistake. At dusk, clouds of hellish bats burst out of the abyss. At dawn, voices were heard discussing plans for hellish dinners. Ghosts in armor walked the halls of the castle, and zombies roamed the gardens.

During his lifetime, King Volkov earned the love of his people as an ardent defender of Batavia. But even for a king, living in the mouth of hell was too much. The Batavia court feared that their sovereign would become a Lich, a werewolf, or some kind of hungry spirit. The king ignored their gossip, fascinated by the charming woman with fangs who visited his bedroom every night. The fact that she appeared outside the window 15 meters above the ground did not bother him. Soon Volkov turned out to be a vampire, and an extremely dangerous one at that. He got rid of his heart to avoid death. Many of Batavia's enemies did not understand how Volkov became an even more ferocious warrior, and after he had put enough heads on pikes, they decided to pillage elsewhere.

The 15th holiday season will begin on January 8th. “This is the most joyful time of the year in Valhalla! We decorated the Hall of Fame in the spirit of Brawlhalliday. Celebrate with an exclusive new Cassidy skin and a new pedestal, as well as nine seasonal skins and other limited-time items,” according to the announcement.
