As part of the QuakeCon 2019 exhibition, Bethesda spoke about plans for the development of Fallout 76 until the end of September. The developers will add the Season meat in-game event, perks in the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode, a new map and a raid.
For completing the raid, users will be able to get new armor and other rewards. In addition, the studio has confirmed that it is working on several more events that will be announced later.
Change implementation schedule:
- From August 1 - a new event Season meat;
- from August 13 - new perks in the battle royale "Nuclear Winter";
- Starting August 20, a new hideout raid consisting of three new missions. They will change every week;
- August 20 - CAMP showcases, where you can hang out the most valuable equipment;
- in September - a new map for the royal battle;
- in September - Improved in-game events based on feedback. Finalization of reward systems, fast moving around locations, improved preview of events on the map and much more;
- in September - the addition of a legendary seller, whose offers will change weekly.
July 19 in Fallout 76 a patch that caused interaction issues with some items. Users complained about frequent bugs when using power armor. Characters would get stuck in it, and after removing it, their head would disappear. Also, a location appeared in the game that instantly killed players when they hit it.
