Firefox for Android now lets you navigate between tabs with a swipe

Switching between tabs with a swipe is one of the most convenient ways to navigate from one web page to another in a mobile browser. If in Google Chrome this feature has been implemented for quite a long time, then the mobile version of Firefox is still deprived of this tool. Now it has become known that the developers from Mozilla will add to their browser the function of switching between tabs by flipping.

Firefox for Android now lets you navigate between tabs with a swipe

Switching between tabs by swiping is usually most efficient on a mobile browser because it doesn't have a top bar that lists all open web pages. Basically, this is convenient when you do not need to scroll through many tabs to get to the one you need. If you have a large number of tabs open in your browser, then it will be more convenient to switch between them by calling a full-fledged screen that displays all the pages.

The new feature has been added to the latest version of Firefox Nightly, which is now available for download from the Play Store digital content store. The source says that the first assembly of the browser, in which the code for the mentioned function appeared, was published on July 23. To switch between tabs by swiping, you do not need to make any settings or separately activate the function, since it is enabled by default. Just swipe left or right on the address bar to move to one of the adjacent tabs.

Now the new feature is only available in the Android version of Firefox Nightly, when exactly it will appear in the stable version of the browser is still unknown.
