Gmail now lets you send emails on a timer

Google is celebrating 15 years of Gmail today (and this is no joke). And in this regard, the company added a number of useful additions to the mail service. The main one was the built-in scheduler, which allows you to send messages automatically at the most appropriate time for this.

Gmail now lets you send emails on a timer

It may be necessary to write, for example, a corporate message so that it arrives in the morning, at the beginning of the working day. This will allow you to send it strictly during business hours.

The Smart Compose feature has also appeared, which automates standard phrases in letters, remembering how the user addresses a specific addressee or command. It captures phrases like "hello" or "good afternoon", allowing you to add them automatically. This feature has been previously tested on mobile platforms and is already available for Android OS (it will be released for iOS later). The feature works in French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

This is far from the first update for Gmail. Earlier it was reported that the mail of the search giant will become interactive. Due to the use of AMP technology, you can now answer letters, fill out questionnaires, and so on directly on the sites, being authorized in the mail.

In this case, the structure of the correspondence will resemble a chain of comments or messages in a forum. This will allow you to track the progress of the communication. Booking.com, Nexxt, Pinterest and others have already begun testing this feature. At first, it will be available only in the web version of the service, but gradually it will be added to mobile devices. A similar format of correspondence is also supported by Outlook, Yahoo! and Mail.Ru, however, there administrators need to activate the feature manually.
