Google Chrome introduces tab scrolling and incognito mode protection

Google is finally implemented function scroll tabs, which has been in Firefox for a long time. It allows you not to "pack" dozens of tabs in the width of the screen, but to show only a part. In this case, the function can be disabled.

So far, this feature is implemented only in the test version of the Chrome Canary program. To enable it, you need to go to the flags section and activate it - chrome://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip. So far, the feature does not work very well even in a test build, but we can hope that the new feature will improve and will appear in the release soon.

However, this is not the only innovation. In Chrome Canary appeared a function to protect users from being tracked by websites. Previously, some resources could track that they were viewed in incognito mode. This was implemented through the file system API. Now in the latest build of Canary, it is possible to turn off incognito mode surveillance.

This feature is forced to be enabled in the flags section: chrome://flags. After that, you need to find the "Filesystem API in Incognito" flag and activate it, then restart the browser for the changes to take effect.

For testing, you can use here this website. When you turn on tracking protection and activate incognito mode, it says "It looks like you are not in incognito mode." In other words, the function works.

There is no word yet on when it will be added to the release, but the appearance of this feature will mean that it will be transferred to all browsers based on Chromium: from the new Microsoft Edge to Vivaldi and Brave.
