Experts iFixit rated the maintainability of the gadget only three points out of ten. In comparison, the first generation Surface Go tablet was completely beyond repair - one point out of ten.
It is noted that the new device has received a redesigned design, and the procedure for opening the case now requires less effort. The advantage is the use of fasteners of only one type.
At the same time, any repair requires the preliminary dismantling of the display module, which can be easily damaged. In addition, there is no modularity of components.
