The console version of Stellaris has a multiplayer mode

Paradox Interactive and Tantalus Media have announced the release of a free update to Stellaris: Console Edition. With him, a multiplayer mode for four players appeared in the strategy.

“Fulfill your galactic ambitions together or fight against each other to crush the hard-won empires of your friends and family,” the developers urge. "Multiplayer is available for free to all owners of Stellaris: Console Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One."

Recall that the launch of the multiplayer took place shortly after the sale of two downloadable add-ons - Leviathans Story and Plantoids Species. Also this year, Paradox Interactive plans to release the Utopia expansion on consoles. On PC, all these materials have long been available in Steam.

Stellaris is a classic 4X strategy game where you need to develop technology, explore the world around you (in this case, the galaxy), fight other civilizations and build your own empire. The strategy has been available on Windows PC, macOS and Linux since May 9, 2016. On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Stellaris: Console Edition was released on February 26 this year.
