The Yandex development team announced the release of the updated Yandex.Maps mobile application and the inclusion in the program of the possibility of online payment for fuel at gas stations.
The new feature works in tandem with the Yandex.Fueling service and allows you to pay for gasoline without getting out of the car while a gas station employee fills the tank with fuel. Arriving at the gas station, drivers just need to select the column number, type of fuel and its quantity. You can pay with Yandex.Money or with a bank card. No transfer fee is charged.
Currently, users of mobile Yandex.Maps have access to 500 filling stations of the Shell and Tatneft networks. Among the partners of the service are also EKA networks, Neftmagistral and the Petersburg Fuel Company. In total, more than 3200 gas stations across the country are connected to Yandex.Gas stations.
Yandex.Maps is available for iOS and Android smartphones. The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Play Store.
