The presence of such a pass will become mandatory from April 15, and it will be possible to start issuing it as early as Monday, April 13. It will be possible to move on foot, but subject to the established rules.

The message says that the access system is declarative in nature, and every resident of the region will be able to get a digital pass. The pass itself will be provided electronically. It is a code of letters and numbers, the first 4 characters of which correspond to the expiration date of its validity, and the remaining 12 characters will identify the owner of the pass, as well as the purpose of the trip. Employees of regulatory authorities will be able to quickly check this information by reading the QR code on the pass.

Citizens need to obtain a digital pass to travel by any means of transport, both private and public. There are several types of digital passes:

For work-related travel. Such a pass will be valid until April 30, inclusive, if the organization continues to function, and the presence of the employee at the workplace is necessary.

For travel to medical facilities. This pass is valid for 1 day and only allows travel to a specific medical facility.

For travel for other personal purposes that are on high alert. A pass of this category is valid for 1 day and allows its owner to travel to and from the destination. You can get such a pass no more than 2 times a week.

Residents of the capital will be able to get a digital pass on the portal MOS.RU, using the service "Obtaining a digital pass for movement around the city". In addition, for these purposes, you can send an SMS to the short number 7377 or call +7 (495) 777-77-77, where they will also provide advice on obtaining electronic passes.

At the request of officials, citizens are required to present a passport and a digital pass in printed form or on a smartphone screen. The check of passes will be carried out in the presence of a citizen using a special program.

It also became known that the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications released a special application for issuing QR passes to citizens. It is called β€œSTOP Coronavirus Public Services” and is already available for download in the App Store and Play Store digital content stores. The application requires authorization through an account on the public services portal. After that, the user is asked to fill out a questionnaire indicating the actual place of residence and take a selfie. After completing the registration, you must specify the purpose of leaving the house, and then the application will provide the appropriate QR code, which will need to be presented at the request of officials. How the authorities will use this program is still unknown, since this application has not been officially announced and cannot be found using a search on the public services portal.
