Production of components for electric buses will appear in Moscow

KAMAZ announced the signing of an agreement with the Moscow Government, which will help develop the production of electric buses.

The document was signed by KAMAZ General Director Sergei Kogogin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The document provides for the opening of a large engineering and production center in the Russian capital, the main tasks of which will be the development and production of electrical components, as well as the assembly of electric buses.

On the territory of the new site there will be a Competence Center, which will be engaged in the development and development of passenger electric transport and electronic/electric power architecture. We are talking, in particular, about batteries and specialized charging stations. In addition, innovative solutions will be developed here aimed at increasing the environmental friendliness of passenger transport.
