Rostec State Corporation announces that in August the second international festival of drone racing Rostec Drone Festival will be held in Moscow.
The venue for the event will be the Central Park of Culture and Leisure. M. Gorky. The races will take place over two days - August 24 and 25. The program provides for qualifying and qualifying stages, as well as the final race of leaders.
This year, 32 professional pilots will take part in the competition, 16 of which are representatives of foreign countries: these are the USA, China, Korea, Germany, Italy, France, England, Latvia and Poland. Among the Russian participants, the best pilots will compete for the title of winner.
As part of the event, a two-level track with suspended structures and a tunnel for spectators will be built, through which everyone can pass and see the race from its very epicenter.
βIn addition, guests and spectators will be able to try themselves as a professional pilot on a computer simulator and learn how to fly a real drone in a special area on an additional track,β notes Rostec.
Finally, the Rostec Drone Festival program involves the formation of an exhibition area that will showcase the latest achievements in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.
