In early 2020, Pokemon Go trainers will be able to battle each other around the world

Niantic Company announced  about what will allow Pokemon Go players to fight each other online. This will happen next year, in the Go Battle League format.

Considering this is Pokemon Go, the gameplay involves walking. Moving outside will gradually give you access to the GO Battle League, where you can battle trainers in the online matchmaking system and increase your rank in the league.

“We hope this feature will make the Pokemon Go battle experience more competitive and accessible to more trainers,” Niantic wrote. Previously, you could only fight locally in Pokemon Go. The Go Battle League will unfold all over the world, which will ultimately help identify the best Pokemon trainer.

Go Battle League is due to appear in Pokemon Go in early 2020. Niantic will reveal more details in a developer diary soon.
