No Man's Sky has a strange "living" ship

No Man's Sky fans can enjoy experimental updates that Hello Games is releasing to test fixes and new features. Updates are usually accompanied by comprehensive descriptions, but in the latest patch the developer specifically omitted some details - in particular, the appearance of very strange-looking living spaceships.

A strange β€œliving” ship appeared in No Man's Sky

In the latest experimental update, PC players of No Man's Sky discovered new ships. From a functionality standpoint, they work identically to any other light ship you might use to explore the NMS universe. But instead of the usual components, the transport consists of various chambers where you can customize elements like a β€œpulsating heart” and a β€œspewing vent.”

Hello Games founder Sean Murray recently ΠΎΠΏΡƒΠ±Π»ΠΈΠΊΠΎΠ²Π°Π» tweeted an old-fashioned illustration that looks a lot like the new ship. The hints didn't end there: the game's creator also posted a video of the Three-day blue egg, which went viral last year.

But this is not all the oddities discovered by players. It looks like the new ships may not be the only living creatures found off planets in the No Man's Sky universe. Streamer Bruce Cooper came across destroyed cargo ships ΠΈ secret listening post, hiding on an asteroid. Maybe fans are in for a major space-related update.

No Man's Sky is out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
