Fallout 76's Wastelanders update introduces Fallout 3 dialogue system

Massive update for Wastelanders Fallout 76 announced at the Bethesda Softworks press conference at E3 2019. Then the authors announced that NPCs and the ability to interact with them would appear in the game. And at QuakeCon 2019, it became known exactly how the dialogue system in Fallout 76 will look like.

Project Manager Jeff Gardiner uncovered some details regarding communication with NPCs: β€œBe sure to remember that we are not introducing the dialogue system from the fourth part. It's more like the response options from Fallout 3, where users can freely choose their lines, rather than being limited to general statements." Reminder: Dialogues in Fallout 4 have been criticized because of the fixed response options, which in most cases fit into one standard scheme. Apparently, therefore, the authors decided to use the developments of the third part of the series.

In addition to the introduction of NPCs, the Wastelanders update will add several types of enemies and weapons, including Gauss Cannons, Plasma Samples, and Bows. The release of a large-scale addition will take place in the fall of 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
