NVIDIA to unveil GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and GTX 1660 Super graphics cards in October

NVIDIA is preparing at least one more video card in the Super series, namely the GeForce GTX 1660 Super, VideoCardz reports, citing its own source from ASUS. The Taiwanese manufacturer will reportedly release at least three models of the new graphics card, which will be featured in the Dual Evo, Phoenix, and TUF series.

It is alleged that the GeForce GTX 1660 Super will be based on the exact same Turing TU116 GPU with 1408 CUDA cores as in the regular GeForce GTX 1660. Perhaps the new GPU will work with higher clock speeds. But so far this is no more than our own guess.

The source also reports that the only, but quite significant difference between the video cards will be in the configuration of the video memory. The new GeForce GTX 1660 Super will get 6 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 14 GHz (which is even faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti), while the regular GeForce GTX 1660 has GDDR5 memory with a frequency of 8 GHz.

And according to the Chinese resource ITHome, NVIDIA is also preparing a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti video card. At the moment, its characteristics are not known for certain, but it is assumed that it will receive a Turing TU117 GPU with 1024 or 1152 CUDA cores. The memory configuration is also not specified, but we can hardly expect the appearance of GDDR6 here.

It is reported that the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics cards will be presented next month.
