The new feature currently has the status βexperimentalβ. It allows you to use very cheap hardware keys for authentication, connected via USB, Bluetooth and NFC. For example, YubiKey Security Key or Thetis FIDO U2F Security Key with Bluetooth cost about 100 euros.
