Rostelecom received the right to organize a wireless network in bank branches in April 2019, having won an open tender. The contract was concluded for two years, and its amount is about 760 million rubles.

As part of the project, a Wi-Fi network has been deployed in 6300 branches of Sberbank. It can be used by both employees and customers. The first through wireless communication get access to all internal services and resources, the second - free access to the Internet.

Clients, in particular, can use the online services of the Sberbank ecosystem, which will help them learn and choose the most convenient ways to solve certain problems.

It is important to note that the Wi-Fi infrastructure is deployed with high security requirements in mind. The user authorization mechanism has been implemented in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

β€œToday, wireless Internet is an integral part of life and communication. Owners of laptops, tablets and smartphones require access to the Internet anywhere, and Wi-Fi is becoming a mandatory service at any service and business enterprise, Rostelecom emphasizes.
