Studio PUBG Corp spoke about the changes that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will receive in the fifth season. The main feature will be the ability to throw various objects.
As the developers explained, players will be able to transfer medicines and ammunition to each other. The maximum transmission distance will be 15 meters. When thrown, items will not need to be picked up - they will immediately appear in the backpack of the second user. They will only land on the ground if the player has no room in their inventory.
In addition, PUBG Corp has added the ability to throw melee weapons. Players will be able to throw machetes, axes, frying pans, sickles and other items at enemies. Throw range and damage will depend on the type of cold weapon and distance. Rivals can be killed with a headshot without a helmet at a distance of up to 15 meters.
The studio also reworked the Miramar map. Vending machines have appeared on it, in which you can get energy drinks and painkillers. In addition, Win94 became the exclusive weapon on the map and was allowed to hang a 2,7x scope.
Another innovation was the appearance of studded tapes. They will instantly pierce the wheels of the car if you drive over them. On which maps the item will be available has not yet been revealed.
