The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and the Russian Agricultural Bank announced their intention to establish a new laboratory in Russia, whose specialists will implement various projects in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
The new structure, in particular, will conduct research in the field of analysis and processing of big data. One of the areas of work will be a toolkit for automatic pre-moderation of text information and images using natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision technologies.
In addition, specialists will develop tools for intelligent search and data analysis. This system will allow analyzing semi-structured information from digital channels and external sources.
Finally, another area of ββresearch will be the development of the intellectual component of digital communicators. This can be a voice chatbot in a call center or an assistant in social networks and portals that can recognize human speech and communicate with a client, taking on the tasks of an employee. The purpose of the study, as noted, is to introduce relevant scientific developments in the field of AI to expand the ability of bots to conduct a free dialogue with a client in natural language, adjusting the communication style and composition of sentences to the individual characteristics and needs of each client.
