ASUS has announced the Dual GeForce GTX 1660 Ti EVO series graphics accelerators: the family includes three video cards that differ in the maximum core frequency.
The new products use the TU116 chip based on NVIDIA Turing architecture. The configuration includes 1536 stream processors and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 192-bit bus.
For reference products, the base core frequency is 1500 MHz, the turbo frequency is 1770 MHz. The memory operates at an effective frequency of 12 GHz. The youngest of the three new products has exactly this frequency formula.
The more productive version of the Dual GeForce GTX 1660 Ti EVO has the maximum core frequency increased to 1785 MHz. Finally, the older version operates at frequencies up to 1845 MHz.
The accelerator cooling system includes nickel-plated copper heat pipes and two Axial Tech fans with a diameter of 80 mm. These coolers stop completely under light load.
To connect monitors, there are two HDMI 2.0b connectors, as well as one DisplayPort 1.4 and Dual-link DVI-D connector. Unfortunately, there has been no information about the price of the new products yet.
