From September 29 to October 1, 2023, the conference "SVE in higher education", also known as OSSDEVCONF, will be held. Traditionally, the venue is the Program Systems Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region. The event brings together free software developers from Russia and other countries to discuss the latest achievements in the field of free software and its development prospects, establish personal and professional contacts, and initiate the creation of new open source projects.
The Program Committee accepts reports on the following topics:
- Free software development;
- The latest achievements of SPO projects;
- Formation of a community of open source software developers;
- Philosophical, cultural and legal aspects of free software;
- Student projects for the development of open source software.
Works should cover the subject of free software. Reports about business, advertising and proprietary software are prohibited. If the topic of the report is related to software development, the application must contain a link to the code itself, published in any public repository under any free license.
Applications are accepted:
- for reports until September 1, 2023;
- for participation by the listener until September 26, 2023.
Requirements for registration of applications and abstracts are described on the conference website.
Participation in the conference for speakers and listeners is free of charge, a transfer is provided from Moscow and back, as well as during the conference from the Pereslavl Hotel to the venue: Yaroslavl region, Pereslavl district, s. Veskovo, Peter the First Street, 4A (Institute of Program Systems named after A.K. Ailamazyan RAS).
