If you purchased the game on Steam and on Nintendo Switch, you can now freely transfer your saves between the two platforms. To do this, you will need to create a 2K account, link it to both platforms, and then check the cloud save option in the settings. After that, all your progress will be synchronized with the server. Alas, there is one unpleasant limitation associated with the Switch version.

The fact is that now only the original game is available on the console, without the Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions. If you play with these add-ons on a PC, you will not be able to transfer your save files. The authors remind that all DLC will also appear on the Nintendo Switch, after which cloud saves will become fully compatible. But for now, you need to check if your versions match.

Recall that Civilization VI was released on PC on October 21, 2016, and the game reached the Nintendo console on November 16 last year.
