LG Display was once Huawei's main panel supplier along with Samsung, but has lost its position as main supplier to BOE.

LG Display has previously supplied large quantities of panels for the Chinese manufacturer's smartphones, which, for example, were used in flagship models such as the Huawei Mate RS and Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

In turn, South Korean tech giant Samsung Display has been supplying OLED panels to Huawei since 2015.

For Huawei, Samsung is the exclusive supplier of flat OLED panels, while BOE is the main supplier of curved panels.

OLED panels are trending right now, and more and more manufacturers are using them in their flagship smartphones.

Perhaps the first major company to use OLED panels and actually start this trend was Samsung. Moreover, until recently, its "daughter" Samsung Display was the only large manufacturer of small and medium-sized OLED panels, controlling more than 90% of the market.
