The definition of broadband Internet has changed in the USA

Today, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) changed its definition of “broadband Internet access” to include download speeds of at least 100 Mbps and upload speeds of at least 20 Mbps. Since 2015, broadband access has officially been defined as a channel with a download speed of 25 Mbit/s and an upload speed of 3 Mbit/s. More recently, in 2021, the FCC Chairman assured that such indicators are sufficient. Image source: unsplash.com
