StarGem and Gaijin Entertainment have released update 1.6.3 "Moon Race" for online space action game Star Conflict. With its release, an event of the same name started, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the landing of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon.
For three months, Star Conflict will host the Moon Race event with rewards for pilots. The event will be divided into three phases, each of which in turn consists of thirty stages. Pilots can fight in any mode and earn xenochips, a temporary in-game currency available only during the event and designed to unlock new stages of the Moon Race. The developers added that the first and every fifth stages are available to all players, while the rest are available only to purchasers of the Moon Pass for the corresponding phase.
As a reward, participants will receive bonuses for obtaining experience and credits, unique decorative items, premium licenses, and even premium ships. Well, the main prize is a powerful Custodian frigate equipped with a flexible shield control system, armed with a plasma cannon and able to hide from radar. Also in update 1.6.3. Testing of the PvE mission "Temple of Last Hope" begins, and buyers of the Lunar Pass "Flight into the Unknown" will be the first to get access to it.
