Developers from Creative Assembly have implemented many gameplay mechanics in Total War: Shogun 2. During the passage, users must form armies, take care of the economic well-being of the regions, establish diplomatic ties, develop trade, and so on. And when it comes to battles, it is necessary to deal with the deployment of troops and operational management. Each type of unit has its own characteristics, as well as strengths and weaknesses that need to be taken into account in battles. The terrain where the battle is taking place also plays an important role, for example heavy infantry should not be ordered up a hill.

Total War: Shogun 2 was released on PC on March 15, 2011. On Steam, the project received 18319 reviews, 90% of which are positive.
