THQ Nordic and Nukklear have announced the launch of an open beta test for the multiplayer helicopter shooter Comanche in . It will end on March 2 at 21:00 (Moscow time).
Comanche is a team shooter set in the near future. According to the plot, the US government has developed a helicopter program designed to create highly maneuverable and advanced vehicles for quietly infiltrating enemy territory and unloading a drone. The idea was successful, but the helicopter drawings were leaked to the Web, and therefore anyone interested in the war and having the funds could build and modify their Comanche. Thus began the era of helicopter battles.
Combat in Comanche takes place in a 4v4 format. The parties are divided into attacking and defending. The player is given a choice of several models of Comanche and drones, which can be customized in accordance with their tactics. For combat in open areas, a helicopter is suitable, while a drone can be launched into buildings or tunnel systems to hack or prevent it.
Comanche will go on sale in 2020 on PC.
