While Valve Corporation publishes games on Steam for a one-time fee, the store strange and frankly hacky projects. One of them is a shooter , the description and screenshots of which are taken from Battlefield 1942.
The “developer” is so impudent that he didn’t even bother to remove the mention of Battlefield 1942 from the description of the game, not to mention the fact that he placed a trailer for the DICE shooter on the Steam page. “To win, in Battlefield 1942 you need to work together […],” the description reads.
This isn't the first time openly copied content has appeared on Steam in one form or another. For example, World of Warcraft was uploaded to Steam Greenlight when the section . But then Valve Corporation closed it and promised to publish any games for $100 directly to the store, which is why such cases continue to occur. But this approach also has its limits when the project comes under close public scrutiny, as happened with Tank BATTLEGROUNDS.
It is worth noting that the release date for Tank BATTLEGROUNDS is listed as May 30, 2019.
